(In Darth Vader's voice for some reason): I have had several episodes prepared and in cryogenic stasis for a while now. Ready for dethawing and activation if necessary. Originally, everyone was going to have an episode pertaining to his or her own personal mission etc. But I'm cutting it down to around three, including the first. People's personal missions will still be fulfilled, or if they didn't have a personal mission, their importance to the story will still be revealed. I'm trying something really radical and avant-garde for the next episode.

Who here likes this activity enough to set aside one guaranteed solid hour a week for it?
Basically, having a group of players that can reliably make the time would facilitate making scenarios. It means that if you say you're free from 7-9 PM on Thursday, you're actually free during that time and will turn down other activities to participate, or are not subject to "moods" causing you to suddenly lose interest inexplicably. In other words, it's a commitment, as much as that word can be used in the context of diversion.

His question was one to ascertain what time would be good enough for everyone to do it, like when we would all agree on what days would be good as we did before. Remember when we all peacefully agreed on Tuesday and/or Thursday, Sunday nights? Though I understand if something important comes up that seriously impedes you to join. Unless something like that happens...
Anyway, putting all this aside... WHEN IS a good time for people to actually get this done?
I might be free this whole week, if not, weekend nights would be the best time for me.

That's fine and all, but it sounds like you're trying to exclude people that can't strictly adhere to every meeting. I don't mean that at all. Basically, there would be a campain for guys who have the time, and when those who don't have as much time want to play, we do our usual oneshots. No one will be excluded, however for those who can make it more often, more drawn out plots would be easier to do. If we wanted to have a D&D size story, having it done once a month or two would really drag it out. I happen to enjoy those, and want to know if anyone else would be interested. |
