If we add him, he'll be the only one repeated thousands of times by uber-annoying anime fans (as opposed to you cool anime fans who are not annoying.... or um less annoying). That just isn't badass. I thought you might bring up this arguement, but I thought this was a mighty list of badass we had here. Not the list Obscure, Unsung, Mighty Badass Heroes. As far as I know, Lord Vader isn't obscure and is probably a character alot of people would think of as badass. This is not a reason that should deny Kenshin a spot on the list. As for the Fangirl images, he's a badass and adored by women everywhere. I like how Vivi put in that no one is invulnerable to fangirl images, it's true. I want Musical's two-cents on Kenshin, he saw the OAV. Well, he DOES kill a hell of a lot of people, so that is definately a plus. |

Kenshin does not belong with demon-slayers, immortals, gritty badasses or anyone else on the list. This isn't kill-lots-of-people list, or look-cool-while-killing-people-list. Although both of those help, Kenshin is not a badass, for he seems to lack a certain quality.
To see what I'm talking about, look at alllll the pictures of guys on the badass list. Then look at Kenshin. If you don't see it, you never will.
Read: He does not have the look.

While you do have a point, I think some of you have a pretty narrow view about what badass is. I don't think Kuat has even seen anything of Kenshin. Kenshin is pretty badass. When he gives you that look, you know you're dead.

And I have watched Kenshin. Not the entire series, and only snippets of the OVA depicting his past. Maybe you should say past Kenshin/young Kenshin, ect. But still, he lacks the look. |

The problem with the pictures you keep pulling out is that they're from the lower quality tv series, when they decided to make the series more kid friendly and for the fangirls.
