Its best left at, it not horrible and its not amazing. If your a fan you have a clue what is going on. Then after you know what is going on you get completely disiponted. Yet if you have never seen a single of the other movies you go, um... why did those things blood melt things, or what did those things do when they attached to other things faces .

I think AVP should be accpeted on a "what if..." basis. You know, like those comic books that would have two completely different characters battling each other but it was never apart of each other's main story lines. If we do this, we can accept it as for it's mere entertainment value without getting pissed off about timelines, character representations, etc. To both the Alien and the Predator series, AVP never really happened.
