Nigga please! Packing the whole week? Brotha you better speed your ass up and do it all this week so we could do something on Thursday before you leave for a few hours at least. Man, this sucks, two good friends are leaving. It ain't gonna be the same anymore, hanging out with Andrew and all, and Brian. Man, this is making me feel really bad. I've just sadly realized that that's how everyone's gonna go. Little by little you'll all go your own ways until all that's left is I, who can't really go anywhere, and andrew, don't jump to any of your "ah stop being depressed, adrian" conclusions, cuz you just don't know. I just really don't want to know what's its like when we're all on our own, and none of you are nearby, especially the ones that matter the most to me. Man, this thread should be deleted. As for Patrick, we have to do something epic on the weekend, all weekend. you do know I live like 5 mins from you walking time. just saying

Hey, Brian, I was eager to write you a letter already. Sadly, your ass only collected addresses and forgot to give yours out. So, I'm officially getting on your ass to start writing letters. I'm going to expect one every week, since that's about the rate my brother mails them out.

Reactor online.
Sensors online.
All systems (GOD DAMN FINALLY) Nominal.
Yeah, I came with a lot of plans... but certain things came in the way.
I'll tell tall tales of my adventures in New York after I get some good pictures of my dorm room. By the way, this has been the first time I've been to a comp apart from my initial reply. The skyshark phrase DEFINATELY applies...
Take care all.

Desk, ect: Bookcase: Bed: Sofa: Door, dresser: A TV stand is still pending (the TV is currently on my coffee table), but more importantly all my anime expo booty is still in Tustin. When my mom comes down for her b-day in october and when I come down thanksgiving I'll ferry the crap here. This will be my home for the coming years. Anyway, I'm going to Manhattan tommorow, so I'll pick up some postcards there, heh.

Aye, school started the 17th. From what I can gather so far, considering everyone calls 1st year the "easiest year", I think I'll have to warp space-time to have a few hours of sleep in the coming years.
On a tangent, my roommate is pretty awesome. He's pretty much a walking NY travel guide as well. Ask him about any street, name, possum, ect, and he knows it and its history. But apart from him and a few other people, so far my reading is that mostly the students are douches. Can't really judge books by their cover, but when half the class goes to bars every night every day of the first week...
Anyway, on a positive note, NY is indeed interesting. I'm living in a decent area (think Santa Ana) compared to the Watts/South-central type areas, but it isn't any 5th ave by any stretch of the imagination. Manhattan (aka "The City") is breathtaking in areas, and it's only a $2 subway ride away. Everything is so different though in an innumerable amount of ways. And no Carl's Jr's!!!! Man, I was mad 'bout that.
Well, I'll be off. Stay frosty.

Yeah, that's pretty much how most first year students at any given university will act. Well, at least my classmates were also like that. Give 'em about two to three months (or less given the harder material) and they shall soon be partying much less.

Just look at the Sky Shark guy's face. Just LOOK. That is like, the universal face of agony mixed with extreme, nay, xtreme frustration.
