If you look on the new site, you can see that we have a new "favicon"; basically, look next to the URL (or on the tab for our site in firefox), and there should be an image (the biohazard symbol). Nifty, huh? (Works alot better in Fox than IE; IE may not show up, just "because") If anyone wants to make a new one, it has to be 16x16 pixels, and converted to a .ico (icon) file. Anyway, just sayin'. Man, I spend waaaaayyyy too much time fooling around with the site  New articles section as well... bleh. |

Hmm, what would be a good favicon for the site? Should we just stick with the regular dragoon helm? Or should we come up with some sort of insignia that looks like styles, says alot about our site, and looks as if it was drawn by a two year old?

I can design an insignia (I have a crudload), but maybe a helm would be good enough. Hmm, then again, the outlaws could use an avatar. Let me upload what I got. |

 Not like we have to choose any of these ones, but if any catches anyone's eye (note, this is just for symbol shape, not coloration, etc. Ignore everything but the shape, heh.) |

The calignari one looks really awesome, and sorta resembles the wings on the dragoon's helmet.

Heh, I guess, though I figured they'd have more of that old fashion, funky-looking lion with swords through it kinda look. I do like the cyber design though, for some reason.

Hmm. Well, it can be anything. Those were just suggestions. I'm partial to the cyber one, as well as innerhouse, blade, tempest and persian for this purpose. I'm more with angular simple logos though, but if you want to do a classical crest (swords and lions deal), that'd be cool as well.
It would be nice to have it simple though if we do make it the insignia of the outlaws as well (like being on their armor/etc). Easier to draw repetitively.

Personally, I find the angular simple logo stuff rather space-aged. Still, I think there may be some use for the cyber one.

The Cyber one actually resembles the Dragoon helm in a way too. Just imagine from a top view and thicken the 'nose'.

Perhaps we can modify the design to use it as an official logo for the Blue Barrets? They do seems like a modern if not incredibly ineffective fighting force.
