Yay, they're new album is called that! How do you pronounce it? Who knows? Anyway, the fact that they're employing this guy as their cover artist surely indicates a radical, and perhaps horrible, new direction for them: www.jeffjordanart.com/gallery.html

Horrible? I was digging some of that art. Perhaps, Patrick, keyword, perhaps. Yes the artwork is crazy... the music however, I'm afraid to see how they'll add up.

Eh, I most always love it when a band takes a new, challenging direction.
If I didn't, I'd be a Nickelback fan.

"Vicarious Atonement" sounds too much like Tool's new single.
Which is call "Vicarious."
That's probably what made me think that this was going to be a hoax.

GOOD LORD!
You just gave me the visual of Cedric ripping off his rubber face to reveal Maynard underneath.
But seriously, if they toured together, concert-goers would loose sanity en masse.

"Vermicide" is the new single. Hear it here: profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=90277695I have mixed feelings about it, it's not really anything new for 'em. It's almost like it should be a B-side... This will definitely be one of their worse songs in their repetoire, but I have high hopes, the singles from their first two albums sounded nothing like the album themselves, so it could still be good.

www.myspace.com/themarsvoltaWell... Here's a song of the new record, "Viscera Eyes." I don't like it to be honest, and I think I'm through with TMV anyway.
