The way is shut. It was made by those who are dead, and the dead keep it.
Of course, I think it's awesome. I want to watch Return of the King again.

I swear, after I die, I want to roam the far reaches of the earth as an armor-clad King-skeleton-ghost-warrior dude.

It doesn't matter what it's about. It's got Nicholas Cage in it. And you know what I always say to his movies.... Yeah yeah, come on, let's do it.
But seriously, I think it's about a cult or something. It's a remake of an older film, which is based on a book that I almost bought once. Maybe I'll look further into it later.
On a tangent though, dang this movie looks hilarious. Nicholas Cage in a bear suit socking a random chick. Good God.
AH GOD NOT THE BEES! NOT THE BEES!
HOWDITGETBURNED!? HOWDITGETBURNED!?

I heard the original film is awesome and I think I'll try to rent it soon.

I heard that the original wasn't anything phenominal, but it wasn't horrible (like this one) either. It's got Christopher Lee in it though, and he kicks ass all over the place.

I think next time everyone is in town, we should all get together and have a big ol' Nicholas Cage movie night. Oh, and just to ad to the Nic Cage-yness, here is a HILARIOUS-ASS japanese commercial with him: www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHwhQyiefFw

Incidentally, Andrew, did you ever get a chance to watch Face/Off yet? If not, I've been in the mood to see that movie, maybe we can hang out sometime and watch it?

Andrew hasn't seen that movie? Seriously? And I thought he had knowledge of all cool movies. Until you've seen Silence of the Lambs, you have no right to question my awesome movie knowledge. But for all intents and purposes, you're right. I am ashamed for not having seen Face/Off. But seriously. SILENCE OF THE LAMBS. That's a frikkin given, dude.

Silence of the Lambs is to the Mona Lisa as Face/Off is to a deformed barnyard animal.
One we appreciate in its own right, the other is a freak of nature meant to be mocked and laughed at.

Sheesh, I was just commenting on what was already said, not throwing an insult. What's with the sudden snappy attack? If anything, it was a compliment of your movie knowledge and I was surprised at the exception.

It's like when I comment on a stupid purchase, and then they retort with waverace. Or viper. Or... ok, I ain't gonna list them all. Or when we comment on how much Googly indeed looks like a certain childhood actor. Or about how utterly devoid of any humanoid intelligence, wit, or cunning MW is. Anyway, more to the point, no one means anything man. This is the old shtick that we've had for a while. Insult each other whenever possible. Didn't you get the memo? Don't let any tiny insults break your stride. Don't let them hold you down, Oh no, you've got to keep on movin'. Damn Bob, he was supposed to send those memos out.
