Just as much as Kuat hates the Socratic method, I hate the hell out of Descartes even more. I also especially hate non-philosophy students that take my Philosophy courses and think he is hard.
If anyone would like to read some philosophy that doesn't say anything apart from a two word sentance, please, read some Descartes.

I won't. You suck. We think.
Anyways, I didn't realize you taught classes. Are your a TA or do you mean "happen to take the same classes as I"?

So... why do you hate him?
I think he meant people that are in the same class as his, I initially thought the same thing as you, but then I realized that's not what he meant.

So... why do you hate him? Because you can't really have exciting discussions over statements of the obvious.

You exist for everyone? So if I want you to make me a sandwich, you'll do it? After all, you exist for other people.

Actually, the statement of "I think, therefore, I am" is a poor argument because the conclusion is already assumed in the premise. It basically says "I exist and am thinking, therefore, I exist." Just replace "think" with any other verb you can think of it will be undoubtedly correct as that premise is made unimportant as the conclusion is assumed in the first premise of "I."
