I might actually start trying to catch up on all these epic newer games once I actually start making substantial amounts of money.
That, and I own too many games I haven't finished yet anyway.

The whole owning a lot of games people haven't finished seems to be a common problem with everyone, there is just a lot of good stuff that's come out. And not enough time.

I've been pretty interested in playing Mass Effect 2, and I'm hoping that it'll go cross-platform, but if not, I guess I'll just have to upgrade my PC.

Didn't you upgrade your PC about a year ago? Is it actually already incompatible? Or do you just want it to look at its greatest? Cause, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to run it at its max, it's a pretty game, but takes a lot of shortcuts.
Oh, and I wonder what this will turn out to be.

Well, It's probably been about 3-4 years I think. But yeah, I was interested in running it max settings. But, I'll take a look at the specs.
Vanquish is the new Platinum Games game, directed by Shinji Mikami, the Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 4, Godhand guy. It looks like it could be a bland futuristic shooter, but who knows? It's Shinji Mikami.

Bethesda have mentioned the possibility of another Elder Scrolls this year.
Also, there's still DUST 514

DUST 514, that's the shooter that's linked up with Eve Online, right? I do think the concept is pretty rad, I wonder how it will fare critically and commercially.

Yeah, that's the one. Personally, I've been fascinated with Eve's universe since I first learned about the game. Unfortunately, like a lot of similar less dedicated folks, I just couldn't get into gameplay. DUST 514 seems right up my alley as a FPS with the depth of a background MMO universe. Also word is that there won't be suscription fees.
Also, on a similar note, Myst Online is back up but this time free.

Heh, I'm trying to download Uru right now, but everyone and their brother seems to be trying to get on it, so I can't really download it at the moment. We're always throwing things at you to try out, I'm down for trying out Myst Online.

Interesting. I never did try Uru. I might try it, but I don't really expect much from it.

Mount & Blade is on sale for five bucks on Steam.
I hear it has a brilliant combat system, though not the greatest graphics but that can be modded.

Well, I'll be damned. I looked at the "Classroom" door and thought it would be more useless BS. We need to get together again then, and try to do it properly.
Oh, did Company of Heroes work after getting the real patch?

I finished the first patch. I say first because there's a second one which is taking longer.
I'll tell you when it works after the last patch, which one that it be.

Ah yes. It'll take a while. I believe what you're basically doing is installing Opposing Fronts onto your computer. It's a nice thing and a stupid thing at the same time: you don't have access to the Opposing Fronts content, but you can play with other players who do have it.
