So apparently Toys R Us and Target stores had started selling copies of Bioshock today. I'm also wondering, Sean, where did you order your collector's edition? Cuz I checked Gamestop.com and there's only a CE for the XBOX 360.

Really? X-box 360 copies, PC copies, or both?

They sold out all of their copies, so I guess it must've been both. Commercials also aired that said "Available Now." This led other retailers to believe that it was OK to start selling but 2K Games was quick to make a statement to their retailers to ensure that no more were pre-sold and that they wait until the 21st official street date.

But I'm sure we can wait five days, can't we? Though I gotta say to me this is one of those things that you want so much that you start thinking the worst. Like the world might just suddenly, abruptly end, without any warning whatsoever.

Or it gets pulled from the shelves by some paranormal influence.

Then again though, they may still have a copy left over at Target. Want to head over there tomorrow just in case?

I'm always up for an adventure. And if they're not selling it, I'll help you sneak into the warehouse to retrieve it. It'll be a Covert Op. Technically, if they did sell some yesterday then that means the SKU would still be in the system, so after our unlawful breaking and entering, we can very lawfully approach the cash register. But first we will check it through the price checker, and if it doesn't register, then we can just walk out with it. None will be the wiser.
