Now that last thing we need is a book thread. I will go make that now.

I'm surprised no one responded to the HSotD one. You guys must be gay and/or hate zombie stuff. Or both, which makes you like Mega Gay^2. I kid, I kid. Next up is Bokurano. It's a Super Robot Manga with a twist, which is actually quite shocking: It sucks the life out of the kids that pilot it, killing them for each enemy they fight. The kids are all like around 12, and they know when they are going to die. Half the manga is seeing how these children deal with their final days before it's their turn to pilot. Quite a surreal and sad work, actually, but it has awesome fights, and some interesting designs. Anyway, it's quite awesome, have a look:

I seriously need to read both of those. On another hand, I've recently started getting into "Island". Island is about this sadistic serial killer who just so happens to be on an island infested with murderous demons. He goes around with this crazy magical vodoo knife or something, and slays them. It kicks ass. You can get it (and a WHOLE BUNCH of other crap) here: stoptazmo.com/ Props to Vivi for showing me this site to begin with. You gotta make an account to download, but whatever.

I'd say something snarky, but with the other threads and anime expo just over, the board is a bit inundated with japanese crap, so I'll leave your bitterness be. On a tangent, did you lose interest in Monster ('cuz I though you liked it a bit at least)?

Yeah, I haven't had the time to read it. An extremely busy summer.

Hey, MW, you need to read Jojo's Bizarre Adventures. It's not sophisticated, but it's got scenes like this: And of course, what the series is known for: Keep in mind, this is all stuff from Part 3: Stardust Crusaders. Parts I and II are just as awesome.

I've already bought volumes 1-5 of stardust crusaders, and I've read volume 01. It kicks freaking ass.

Not even a word of explanation or recommendation to go along with those pages?
Those scans are kind of randomly selected from the middle of Midori Days, which, in short, is about how the main character's right hand turns into a young girl. It sounds strange, and it is, but it's actually quite a lighthearted romance comedy that has a lot of great humor in it.
I haven't read the manga, but I own the anime of this one.
