Is the final smash a new move for all characters or was that in Melee? cuz I never knew about no final smash A final smash is both a new special move for each character and a new item. It's probably the biggest core gameplay change they made (even though it's still optional). Here's some info on how the Smash Ball and Final Smashes work: www.smashbros.com/en_us/howto/technique/technique09.htmlEvery character's Final Smash is different. Most of the character's Final Smashes have been revealed, as well. I've announced some of them here as they've been released, but if you want to take a look, just go to the characters section and check the characters to see what their Final Smashes are.

Hm, today is a rather eventful update day. www.smashbros.com/en_us/characters/zerosuit_samus.html#3rdFirst off, it looks like Zero Suit Samus really does have a Final Smash ability. For a while I was thinking she wouldn't even have one because, if you don't already know, after Samus uses her Final Smash, she sheds her armor and becomes Zero Suit Samus. It seems that during the Final Smash of Zero Suit Samus, she actually transforms and regains her suit again. Quite interesting.. Also, there's some explanation there about a method in which you can transform between Samus and Zero Suit Samus at will. Even though they explain it, though, I don't really understand how it works... Also, a pretty cool movie was released featuring Marth and Meta Knight: www.smashbros.com/en_us/gamemode/modea/modea13.htmlI like how the plotline primarily develops with actions, with very little reliance on dialogue.

She sheds her armor after her final smash huh? I'm beginning to think we're going to see a lot of "first and foremost" smashes from Samus during our time with it.

I dunno, it's not like you can just easily pull off a Final Smash whenever you want to..

My bro apparently played Brawl already. He played a bit of it, and he basically says it's pretty much Melee with better graphics, more characters, and super moves. He also says that Lucario is pretty cheap.

Melee with better graphics is exactly how it should be. No point in trying to fix what isn't broken.
Also, Lucario = playable character? Meh..

I'm guessing it was a Japanese copy.

Also, Lucario = playable character? Meh.. Given all the other options they could have put in, I kinda feel the same way.
Tell me Andy didn't loan-shark NINTENDO ITSELF out of a copy of Brawl... ...That would kick ass though.
It dates back to when Nintendo was still a card making company. They were close to bankruptcy and needed some quick cash to make a big risk. My bro helped them out. And that risk was the Nintendo Entertainment system. Of course, given the time that has elapsed, Nintendo owes him millions, but he made a deal with them that if they let him try out their lastest games early, he'd ignore their lack of payments. He asked for the Japanese copy and decided to borrow a friends Japanese Wii.

He asked for the Japanese copy and decided to borrow a friends Japanese Wii. I assume you mean borrow using very loose terms.

www.smashbros.com/en_us/stages/stage27.htmlAnother new stage that's a direct adaptation from a classic level. This time it's Green Hill Zone, the classic first stage from the original Sonic the Hedgehog game. It's really awesome that they're taking all these classic game levels and recreating them for use as battlegrounds for Brawl.

"Sonic’s stage is a hidden stage. It’s like the Sega Genesis makes a comeback as Nintendo hardware!"
Heh, that's a statement that nobody would've thought possible back in the 90's.

I think the most badass thing in the world would be if Nintendo single-handedly destroys Sony and Microsoft, and Sega (who has been biding its time all these years) breaks free of Nintendo, and the second great Sega vs. Nintendo war begins.
Time flows like a river, and history repeats...

Man, I don't know, that would be pretty horrific. I'd imagine a future where everything is run by corporations, and the three biggest ones are Sega, Nintendo, and EA. It'll be like a really crappy Real time strategy where Sega's got few eclectic units that can do multiple tasks, Nintendo will have the well-defined units that cost a a medium amount of resources and has a tech tree that's easily accessible but hard to master, and EA will just Zerg rush everything.
Hopefully it'll also spur another season of Captain S though.
