You know, I really hated that whole conversation minigame. I just got around the whole conversation thing by killing everyone. But I want to be accepted into the Mages' Guild. D: |

I hate minigames, especially the quick button tapping ones. At least tapping a button makes sense. That speech minigame is like trying to decipher the enigma machine but always translating the message as an assortment of obscenities. |

There's a circle... shaded in parts... you can turn the shaded parts...
there are also facial expressions
I blame myself for skipping past the tutorial explanation.

Even with the tutorial, it's kinda an illogical mini-game to me. If I can tell someone won't like something I'm about to say, I try to make an effort to not say it, as opposed hoping my pie slices are in the correct arrangement to make for optimal affection gains over affection losses...

I don't get why you guys can't get the speech minigame.
It's intuitive and kinda fun. Maybe you guys have a different version, but there are four choices and four facial expressions, with a rotating wheel.
Meh.

All I know is that I feel as though I do the minigame well (larger shades on the most positive expressions) and I still get denied.

I just find it funny to cycle through joking, bragging, intimidating, and brown-nosing in a span of four seconds, but inconvenient to have to play through a rather pointless mini-game to do what I was going to do anyways. Oh man, you used one of those lizard guys, didn't you? Nobody likes those guys, man. Nobody. So yeah, you're doing fine at the minigame, it's just racism. Maybe he's playing a redguard?
