Aka NaNoWriMo. Although I hate that name. To summarize from their site: Why don't we try doing this? Try, at least; I don't know if any of us will actually reach the limit. Let's post our progress here as well.

Why don't we try doing this? Because we're sane. Except for Andrew.

I Think I'll definitely try it. I've got a futuristic, half-life 2/equilibrium/too human style story I've been thinking about.

Do you really have free time between writing papers to write a novel? Because I don't.

Do you really have free time better writing papers to write a novel? Because I rarely do. Taking some English lessons from Oscar Gamble? I can't interpret your sentence. I can assume you are implying a lack of time to actually do the project. Yeah, I probably don't have enough time, and I don't think many of us want to set aside the time needed. But hey, the results could be interesting.

I don't think many of us want to set aside the time needed. Yeah, that's pretty much my stance in a nutshell. Heck, I'd have trouble wanting to set aside the time to even read one.

Taking some English lessons from Oscar Gamble? Racist. Basically I'm more interested in writing my Moral Psychology paper due this Friday.

In the end, the idea of the whole thing is about trying to reach the goal of 175 pages, not necessarily making a well written 175 pages. I want to write a story in the same vein as Peter Chimaera.
