I'll admit that the final villain/fight felt a little uncreative.. I mean.. another iron suit? It did make sense as far as the plot goes, though.. Eh.. Still though, I thought there was some clever execution in how the battle panned out.
What's cool about this Superhero movie though, and a factor that sets it apart from the rest, is that Stark has to really go through some shit and earn his "powers" on his own steam. Nothing is just handed to him, he really pours his all into making himself the hero he becomes. I'm not saying the other superheroes didn't go through their own troubles, but hopefully you understand what I'm getting at.
The Dark Knight is looking very good, though. I'm looking forward to it.

I don't know dude, if there's any superhero who really had to go through some ruff stuff to get where he is at, it's Bruce Wayne. The similarities and differences between him and Stark are there. And I like that. Both heroes are rich, playas, and use their own wit and intelligence to make themselves superheroes, not to mention they actually got the financial backing to do it. Both have the resources to do what the other does, but they both have a different approach. Stark is all about technology, and enhancing himself through the use of a suit. Wayne is more organic, more symbolic, and more about using psychology and theatricality to fight his opponents. What I like a lot about the Batman comics, especially Frank Miller's landmark Batman: Year One, is that Bruce Wayne is a man who has completely sacrificed his life to become Batman, going away for seven years: studying chemistry, forensics, etc, and learning every form of martial art he can, only to be further schooled by Henry Ducard, and finally being able to return to Gotham and fight crime. It's pretty much what Batman Begins was based on. I still wish there was a lot more symbolism in the new Batman movies though. One day someone needs to make one in which he is portrayed as a legend, which is how the comics mostly tackle him, as the beast that the superstitious criminals fear.

Well I can't really argue with that, you make some good points. It's quite true that every hero has their own hurdles to overcome, and Ironman and Batman are in pretty similar situations, now that I think about it.

One thing that Iron Man has over The Dark Knight and Batman Begins, is that they have someone that's interesting and attractive play the love interest, while Batman Begins had Katie Holmes and now Maggie Gyllenhaal. And man do I hate both actresses.
Seriously? MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL?!
The Dark Knight will be the best movie ever if they KILL THE BITCH.

Then the circle would be complete.

Kinda funny, it looks like your quoting yourself. What I want to know is, does anyone know where in the Bat Universe do we get reintroduced to Robin? Anyone want to make a prediction if we will be seeing Robin in a speedo and shirt combo?

ARRRR, I hate Robin. What an awful character. Like Batman lite. Parents died, want revenge, wah wah wah. Is Robin afraid of birds? Is that his symbol to strike fear into the hearts of villains? BUT HE RIDES A MOTORCYCLE! Terrible.

You know, the Green Lantern really doesn't seem to care at all. He's just like "Whatevah."

So the other super heroes are talking about their lovers, so what does that make Robin (DUN DUN DUUN).
