I just got back. It was intense and awesome. I dig more than the original. Ledger totally delivers in the chaotic Nietzschian that I was looking forward to and watching Two-Face's development was excellent. I enjoyed that the origins (well Joker doesn't really have an origin, but the reason he is the movie more like) were perfectly combined into a full story instead of feeling like a break in story.

Not really, I don't care for the old Batman movies. What? You mean your not a fan of Batman and Robin? He's a fan of Christian Bale more than Batman, I think.

If you ever bother to see more than just his Batman films or Equilibrium, you will understand. Anyway, I have three goals in the ever-increasing list of things I want to do in life: Turn Neon Genesis Evangelion into a good movie trilogy Own a Lotus Elise and be like CB's Bruce Wayne.

Thanks for that totally academic look into the Dark Knight. You make it sound BORING! Anyway, we'll all be seeing it in IMAX tomorrow night. I'm tempted to sneak away tonight and go see it though.

I actually really want to see American Psycho now. That article about why Christian Bale is badass (or something along those lines) convinced me.

I like to be comfy during a movie.

Anyways I'm excited about the Watchmen movie. Heard about it a month ago but the preview sold me on it.

Well, we just got back from watching it. It's the most amazing comic book movie ever. The whole philosophy, everything was good about it. Wow. Too bad there won't be a third. Heath Ledger was amazing. Oscar winner for sure.

After an ending as perfect and solid as that, I'm glad there isn't going to be a third.

Oh man, The Dark Knight broke records this weekend for biggest midnight opening, biggest friday intake, and biggest opening weekend ever. Truly deserving I believe so.

The movie was true genius and there were so many points where I really didn't want to laugh at what the Joker was doing, because it was so twisted. Oh there is supposed to be a third movie and the thing is the director is not really enthusiastic to do it. Maybe in 4 years, but there is supposed to be a third.
