list of odd recall items thread

so working at target some some weird things get recall so I decided to start a list up.


first we have a the arm spirits arcade game



harmless no? well it has broken three peoples arm in japan and is now being recalled.

Next we have the lovable toy call aqua dots



apparently "Scientists say a chemical coating on the beads, when ingested, metabolizes into the so-called date rape drug gamma hydroxy butyrate. When eaten, the compound — made from common and easily available ingredients — can induce unconsciousness, seizures, drowsiness, coma and death."

it seems house wifes don't have a problem putting there loud kids to sleep still pretty funny how popular this toy was only to get called back.

third, the most recent and not really recalled but was discontinued. is ice breakers pacs. apparently the Hersey company wanted to appeal to the newest generations of kids so how do they do it? well sell them candy that looks like drugs of course.




their beef is the "New mint packets being sold by The Hershey Co. look nearly identical to the tiny heat-sealed bags used to sell illegal powdered drugs like crack, heroin and cocaine and glorify the drug trade, a Philadelphia police official said."

while this product is discontinued and can still be found on store shelves I have had the change to try them and have to say its a odd experience to tay them. there a cross between a Listerine pocket pack on the outside and mint on the inside. but yeah of course they complain about this but things like candy cigarettes and big league chew are completely ok and don't promote negative habits.

Have you played the Fist of the North Star arcade game? There's a reason why you don't see that one around either.

HOLY CRAP THAT'S AWESOME. A game that actually breaks peoples arms? We need to add that arcade machine to the badass list.

As for the Pacs, screw that. Raven's Revenge was the shizznit.

I always loved how Raven's Revenge tubes were always peddled by some kid who was like that merchant from Resident Evil 4.
