And stepped foot before the swirling mass of fear and doubt that is the future.
Plans: a year or so off to build up a financial base and then toss myself back into the pain for grad school
Grad school shall not be glad school.

First off, congrats.
Second off, what are you gonna do in grad school? Masters? PhD? JD? MD? DMD? FRACS? DSci?
...FUBAR?
Third, what ya gonna work as for the year?

First question, haven't decided.
Second, whatever I can find. Maybe some intern thing somewhere hopefully.
I'm a leaf on the wind.

What I am trying to do and not doing so well is act on some advice I have been given for easy transition into grad school. It is to work in a field that will give you some relevant experience in your desired field. I am trying to get some PAID work in psychology, but finding it is no easy task. I can easily find volunteer work in psychology and/or counseling.

1 buck an hour. And a side of bitterness.

I had to submit myself to a psych experiment for a class I took. I just filled out a form about whatever silly superficial questions they had. Pretty unexciting and I kept looking around hoping this was really some quadruple blind mega-super behavioral test about boring surveys.

You wanted to catch then in the act of trying to deceive you? The funny thing is the most experimented on group of people are psychology/philosophy students since it is sometimes a requirement for a class.

I'm sure we deep thinkers skew the results adequately.

I see you as more of an outlier.
