So we are in the process of modding nerf guns and Shane's was the first since it was the easiest. Unlike conventional models this gun's source of power is a battery. We simply increased the voltage from 4.5v to 9v. The results are somewhat to be feared. Let's just say that you wouldn't want to be hit close range. It can sustain a straight path for 30ft. Trajectory or arched range is 50ft. I can only imagine how fast you would need to be to dodge it. My advice, stay hell'a far away from its range. Because of the loud hellish noise it generates it has been dubbed... The Chainsaw of Doom

For a second there, I thought this post was going to be about actually opening a modding shop.

Sweet. Yeah, there are some great mods out there. I'm planning to mod my shiny new Firefly to give it some additional range.

Holy flying foam balls, you're like the Lockheed Martin of Nerf. Until you develop some kind of cross-state ballistic delivery device, I suppose I am in the safe.

You're falling behind in the arms war, man. All of us are pretty well armed. Without some heat of your own, you're like the nerf equivalent of Poland. And you don't want to be THAT would you?

*official looking military figure approaches the podium and address the cameras*
Good morning ladies and gentlemen, as the representation of the government of Bradlea, I have been given the order to announce that Bradlea is currently researching nerf power for energy concerns and not for developing weapons of mass bruisation. Nations of the world, while our Southern aggressors have a barbaric interest in justifying an unjust war against Bradlea I must impress upon you that the Bradlean people are committed to peace but will take up arms in defense against the Oranganian warmongers if there is no better course of action. Yet let these baseless accusations and taunts only show proof of their imperialist ways.

Meh. Just pulled it off of google images. Should be visible now. Oh I want to get that one too. Doesn't if fire glow in the dark things? And doesn't it have a motor?

It doesn't have a motor. The whole firing glow in the dark ammo is a rip, too. The suction head glows a little, but basically it's a regular suction dart that they want you to put a glow in the dark sticker on. I didn't even bother. How long can a sticker last on a dart? Lame.
It's not a bad gun. Really though, in the modding community, the Longshot (your gun) seems to be among the most popular.
