If you were playing that game the roof would cave in...
Good thing you'll never play that game.

Captain Jake Saddler Stardate: August 7th, 1177 NC
I am fucking proud of my new ship.
Ok, it's not necessarily the fastest ship in the world, nor is it the most highly advance. In fact, the only record it my be able to carry is the ship with the least possibility of actually obtaining a record on this side of the galaxy.
But it's mine, god damnit.
Fresh out of the shipyards, she was Christened the Nova Surfer, based off of a hero I've heard about long ago. Admittedly, it's only a shuttle, but it's my shuttle. I just love emphasizing that fact. It's got enough cargo space to hold a few passangers, and perhaps a bit of cargo even. Incidentally, it almost like something out of an old movie I used to watch with my pals. Star Tours or something like that. It was pretty old, that's all I know.
It's a relatively functional ship, with enough energy for approximately 3 jumps. Can't go very far, but if it'll take me off this giant ball of ice, so be it. She also has some light blasters equipped on her, which isn't enough to do anything useful, but it's better being raided by pirates with it than without it.
Ah yes. I can finally leave now. Snowmelt happens to be the second most inhabited planet within the Kane Belt. It's fascinating because no one in their right minds would want to be around here. Just so damn cold. And what is there to see? Ice, lots of ice. I'm glad I'm away from there.
My first duty as a ship captain is to make some cash. I have some shipment of random equipment, not sure what it's used for, in the cargo bay. I'm going to have to travel to the planet Cornwall, which is in the South Manchester system. It'll be my first mission. And my only chance to escape from this place.
Hell yes, I love my ship.

Yikes, so much has happened since the last entry.
After dropping off the shipment in Cornwall, I decided to take another drop mission. I figured that the cash would have been useful when I needed to upgrade the Nova Surfer.
It was another equipment drop mission, this time to the Nesirus Prime system, where equipment is definately needed to fight the pirates patrolling their "borders". It so happens that before even landing on, I was attacked by pirates!
It was tough, but I managed to escape them in one piece. God damn though, that "one piece" bit really only applies to me. The Nova Surfer was trashed! The fusion core was nearling burnt out. My light blasters stopped functioning after the third direct hit. The fusion drives hardly operate, and there was some breach of the hull in the cargo area. Thankfully none of the cargo was damaged.
She was trashed beyond repairs. And I was forced to land on Nesirus. I remember the scene as they took her away to the heap. The junk traders weren't too happy about it. Shuttles aren't exactly a hot item, so it was just more space in their yard. I'll miss her though, and I'll remember all the good times. All 24 days of them.
The shipment was fine though, and it gave me just enough cash to buy a new ship. I went to their shipyard and checked through their wares. Much to my suprise, I found a used Heavy Shuttle there for a great price. It came fully equipped with two light cannons, a gravometric sensor, and IFF decoder, an auto-recharge, and a battery.
Plus it played MP3s.
As much as I will miss the Nova Surfer, the Nova Seeker is a better ship in all regards. Faster, more manuverable, and capable of more hyper jumps. It has a larger cargo space too, so I can carry out more missions. Looks like my fortune was veiled in misfortune.
My trip to the top has gotten a bit shorter.

I'd probably confuse everyone since I play more than one game at a time (I have at least 5 games I'm playing at the moment; Fatal Frame (first and third), Haunting Ground, Animal Crossing, Kingdom Hearts 2, a couple different Resident Evils... and there are more, but I'm getting tired of typing.

Steambot Chronicles Day 1
I opened up the game to find that the instruction manual was actually in color. It actually had pictures in it. This made me happy.
I played the game. My character woke to find a girl who was supposably pretty, but the 3rd models did the concept art no justice. I told her that I felt like I was going to die. She proceeded to pick herbs around the beach.
My character's name is Vanilla. That's pretty queer. I decided to make his character the oblvious idiot type, so I selected all oblivious answers when the girl tried to pull obvious moves on Vanilla.
I hit people with my Trotmobile. I hate that name.

Steambot Chronicles Day 2
I spent the time doing what I think is the main storyline stuff. It invovled some bad music. I like playing my harmonica.
The town that I came to, Nefro, was attacked by bandits with an equally stupid name, Killer Elephants. Yeah...
I was getting tired of how Vanilla looked. The only useful article of clothing that I could put on him was a Sombrero. It actually made him look pretty cool. I shelled out 500 UD to give him a zuit suit. Now he doesn't look like ass.
I changed my characters personality to be more of a loud-mouth brash guy. He used his trotmobile to fight the leader of the Killer Elephants. While wearing a chef hat. I kick ass.
That girl from the store looked pretty cute.

Ooooo. I never played nor heard of that game. In that case, you should know that my post was dripping in sarcasm when I said that. Vectorman is a Sega Genesis side shooter game starring a disjointed robot. It's my favorite game besides Sonic the Hedgehog for Sega though.

I think I've seen a review of the game on X Play. They gave it a mediocre review, but I think it looks interesting.
