Seriously guys, I'm so thankful that we're living at a time when a future like the ones envisioned in various media is just around the corner. I know I've run across a bunch of futuristic concepts, inventions and technology articles on the internet, so I've decided to form a thread in which anyone else who might also appreciate this kind of thing may see them, and post some themselves.

Dude... that thing looks awesome. I however, think the contrary, that technology will enable people to connect over long distances. I don't know about you, but I talk with people face to face on a daily basis.
