So recently, I've been wanting to make substantial mood playlists. At the moment, I'm working on a heroic playlist, for those times when I'm playing some kind of action, fantasy game, and need something heroic and epic to play in the background.

This rendition of Basil Poledouris' infamous theme for Starship Troopers is among my slowly growing playlist (Well actually, the original recording for the soundtrack is on it), along with selections from the following:

Mass Effect
Star Trek
Tron: Legacy
Kameo: Elements of Power
The Two Towers
The Return of the King
300
Batman Begins

This is where you guys come in, any suggestions and offerings of "heroic" themes from movies and other media (video games, tv shows, etc) that have escaped me are welcome. I'm looking for "Epic" heroic. To clarify: stuff like the above mentioned, not to be mistaken with the adventurous brass of the "Indiana Jones" and "Jurassic Park" suites. If it sounds like those, now is not the time, I'll make an adventurous playlist for that later. Then, I can share this playlist with you guys. Later on I'll say make a playlist of crescendos and whatnot. Thanks, guys!
