ShortPerson, Vivi, and Dex will like this. You all should remember the Kyo and Yuki stuffed animals from Expo. Vivi got the Yuki one, Dex got Kyo, and I managed to get both of them because I'm an obsessed loon. Anyway... Doyle knows I have this huge obsession, seeing as I made him watch every single episode of Fruits Basket in the box set when he got it for me. He went to suncoast and ended up coming back with a present for me. I expected some sort of stuffed cow, because that was what I normally get. But no, he comes in with Momiji. I just about died. People were staring at me like I was insane because I started laughing and playing with the stuffed animal right at my desk. Yes, I am a freak. Just because I can:

He may be a bit wierd, but he's too adorable, as a boy and as a little rabbit. He's a fun character. Him and Haru. I always go crazy with those two. lol.

Hm.. I'm somewhat inclined to agree.. but Clamp has some good titles. "X" being one of my Clamp favs. Fruits Basket is a good one, too.

"X" being one of my Clamp favs. The Vivi axiom: Any anime that can be defined as "depressing" or "sad" will find it's way into Vivi's heart. Therefore, Vivi's favorite animes will most likely have the shape of a bell curve, comparing time (measured in episodes) versus depression factor F (measured in chocolate, because hey, we all love chocolate!). The structure should be a depressing beginning, glimmer of hope in the middle, all hopes and dreams dashed in the end and/or a hugely open ending that can mean anything. The series may seem like it's trying to delve into deep philosophy, but it's mainly because the creators are hollow husks of hatred that want to spread their misery. An example of such an anime would start with a collage of babies getting taken away from their mothers, then the mothers killed and/or raped, and the babies sold into slavery to whittle away their days. Then as an adolecent, one of them decides to lead them and break free, and a heartwarming story then follows of them trying to gain their freedom. They die horrible deaths shortly afterwards, probably with the ending having some inner meaning or discussion of Jung/Freud/ect sort of half-symbolic bull, but more likely because the creators are huge pricks. Man Vivi, you would love Elfen Leid. I almost don't want to let you see it, because it is your perfect anime! You would never want to see another anime again, for that is what you have been questing for! So, I'll show it to you when you are 40.

Man Kuat, just because I like some depressing anime doesn't mean it's the only thing I like. I love X because of the violent action and gory fighting, heh. Kiki's Delivery Service is one of the top ranked on my favorite anime list. Happy endings are just as awesome as sad ones.
