www.urbandead.comanyone try this one out yet? Basically, it's a browser-based zombie survivor game. I've only tried a bit of it so far, and the only thing I can really say is that I've survived a zombie bite and that you should probably play it around 11 o clock PST because the servers stink.

I'm currently in Galbraith Hills, holed up in the well-fortified Beauchamp Bank with a small group of experienced people referring to themselves as international soldiers. According to one of them, they'll be moving back to their safehouse in Chudleyton soon. I'll probably stick by them for the time being, but if we could team up that'd be pretty cool. :`
My handle is Daytime Lantern, referring to myself as Kei, a consumer class, and my damn cell phone doesn't work..

I'm currently in Crooketon right now. I'm holled up in Moberly Cinema, which is pretty well fortified if I may say so myself. There's only one other dude with me, and he hasn't said a word in 2 days. I'm tempted to hit him because I'm pretty sure I can get away with it...
By the way, I'm using Sigmund Storne as my name for now. I might make a new character later though.

Well Dex's character is a Private, and he's over in Judgewood. I think we should all find a midway point to meet at and barricade. Preferably near a mall for us consumers, and a gun store and/or police station for mr. private. It sounds like a pack of zombies are headed in my direction, and that these soldiers I'm holed up with will be moving out anytime. I'm sure as hell not gonna be left behind for a pack of zombies, so I'm gonna move out on my own accord. I'm going to head in a W/NWerly direction since that's headed generally toward you and Dex. I'll try and lay low the best I can, and stop by a mall for supplies if I can find one along the way. You're 'partner' sounds like a big help, lol. Hit him and see if he wakes up. Careful though.

I've traveled to the suburb of Havercroft, and stopped to rest at the well-fortified and populated Maria General Hospital. I've found a bottle of wine, a pistol with 4 bullets, and a newspaper along the way. I found a 4-block mall very near this hospital, but whoever is inside has barricaded it so heavily that I can't get in.
Oh yeah, and there's like, 9 dead bodies outside each block of the mansion, so someone in there's been doin a hell of a lot of killing. That newspaper was old and useless.. read and tossed it.

My name is Max Axe McCoy, and after hacking a zombie to pieces, I have taken refuge in a mildly secured building called Denner Towers in the town of Dentonside. I am by myself, and I'm not so sure how long I can stay sane like this...
The head... yes, the head is the key... Axe them in the head...

Dentonside, eh? Ah hell, you're on the complete opposite side of the city as the rest of us. Either you'll be without us for a while, or go a long, long ways west to try and find us. If anyone's wondering how I know our positions relative to each other, check this out: www.jonathanfletcher.f2s.com/urbandead/mapping.phpIt's a damn handy map, and it's a damn big city.

Well, my fireman is currently in Chudleyton. I'm going to move south to Molebank so that I can be inbetween Crooketon and Havercroft.
My character's name is George Matheson.
EDIT: Currently in the Montgomery Avenue Fire Station in Molebank with a civilian, a scientist, and a medic.... all low level like myself.

Hm.. I might as well mention Peter's character too in the game, he felt like signing up as well. He has a scout hanging out in Shore Hills somewhere. And yes, his name is NutriGrain.
My character is still in the hospital, regaining AP. I'd like to get in the mall, but the heavy barricades restrict me for now. I might just try to keep looting the hospital in hopes of finding some medpacks.

Welcome to Hell

Dead bodies... so many... dead bodies. Damn, and action points get used up quickly. I do have like 50 bottles of wine though. Oh yeah, in Williamsville as Loco Loki. "You are inside the Bugden Building. The building has been lightly barricaded. Somebody has spraypainted We are inside onto a wall." That is where I ran outta points.

heh, this is from Urban Dead's own wiki:
"Starts with Shopping skill, and a mobile phone. The mobile phone has no use yet, but may become useful in future updates. Civilians are best suited to malls, where their Shopping skill allows them to choose which shop to loot. However, the use they derive from their spoils is limited - Doctors can heal more effectively, and Consumers have only a 5% hit rate with weapons that they find. The class may become a better option when the mobile phone is better implemented into the game. Some players dedicated to roleplaying see the Consumer class as the one most accurately reflecting the status of the vast majority of people who would be caught in a zombie apocalypse, and thus choose the Consumer despite his obvious weaknesses."
In the words of that one guy from The Blair Witch Project
"Dat phone was fuckin' useless!"
or something like that...

Heheh, seriously. My strategy is going to be looting hospitals and malls for medpacks and healing other people with them for exp. So consider me a medic for now, heh.

Same problem here. Anyway, I created a private named Randy Rhodes, and he is stuck in some park with a name I can't remember.

I was in a pretty crowded area when I logged off. The site isn't accessable. Hopefully, it's just general maintanence or something. I'd hate to find my character alone surrounded by zombies when I log back on...
