socrates is a bastard. no, he's a great guy and all but damn. for my philosophy class, i have to write a two page summary of what socrates was trying to say to euthyphro. oh, and it is due tomorrow. argh! my head hurts! i would want to explain but ahh! can't wrtie more ugh....

pfft, that's easy, Socretes was basically calling Euthyphro a moron using "Socratic Irony" (I can't tell the difference between that and sarcasm). He was trying to point out Euthyphro's contradition between stating that piety is doing whatever the gods like and saying that the gods like doing whatever because it is pious. Does that help? Oh wait, by the time you get this, it may be too late...
