After getting a few nights of perfect sleep (I wake up on my own, no stupid alarm required), I found out I need about 6 hours of sleep.
Considering I signed on when I woke up (~4:30 your time), and there were people on, I thought this would be interesting.

I usually like eight hours (the standard according to some study somewhere) but I have the unfortunate problem of messing up my sleep hours. I blame this mostly on my roommate and dorm life in general.
Sometimes I need to rest the system. That means staying up for a whole night. I'll probably give in, though.

4-6 is my usual, but there are certain random times where I'll sleep for up to 10 hours straight. I think those are just caused by sudden bursts of extreme laziness.
X-TREME!!!!
I agree with the whole messing up the sleep hours thing, too. That happens to me alot. Then I'll be sleeping and staying up at weird and crazy hours until I have my internal clock set straight again.
Also, I should mention I take afternoon naps almost everyday. I used to hate those as a kid, but now I need them.

Waking up with no alarm required? That's extremely rare for me...

If I get a routine going, I can get up without an alarm.
However, I haven't been able to stick to a solid routine this year.

I'm always needing to go to bed at different times and get up at different hours.. I can't really afford to let myself naturally wake up..

Usually around six...that's probably the most I ever sleep without waking up or anything.

I'm sure I'll be the only one saying 10+. It might have something to do with my depression though.

I generally sleep 10+ hours over the weekend but I don't need to.

I'm usually fine with any amount of sleep as long as I get a 10 minute cat-nap somewhere along the day.

I'll admit, I also tend to sleep that much if I ate alot the night before too. It could be gluttony also...

Oh yeah? Well I sleep more due to... Pride... yes... I have a biological and psychological need for sleep, this outweighs my vain reasons for sleep. Other than that I need about 7-8 hours of sleep and can naturally awake when the need is significant even when I have had an insufficient amount of sleep. I guess the stress overwhelms and urges me to awake at a certain time, such as 3am.

I take "ugly" sleeps. Oh, and I always awake out of fear of something, like something might happen while i'm a sleep or i won't get a chance to do a certain thing. This fear keeps me awake even when I really, really need sleep.

I like to sleep from about 7:00a.m. until 5:00p.m. so that's about 10 hours. Since I can't maintain this routine, I just randomly fall asleep at people houses.

I actually don't function too well without a lot of sleep. If I could wake up at at least noon each day, I'd be good. But even waking up at 10 can be hard for me.

Maybe with a pinch of aspinia.
