I told Musical that I would upload some albums and since he has been, also, interested in the band Mogwai... I'll upload that first.
Happy Music for Happy People - Mogwai
Less progy (time length, specifically) and less dark than their fellow post-rockers Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Mogwai is the entry point of post-rock from the post-punk perspective (Pixies, The Cure, Joy Division have been cited as influences). Overall, a chill band that does well when wanting to relax.

Banked on memory. Mummified circuitry. Skin graft machinery. Sputnik sickles found in the seats. Self-destruct sequence. This station is NON-OPERATIONAL!

Here's one for Adrian.
Yerself Is Steam - Mercury Rev
Remember that dream pop band that I showed you that was formed by one of the former Flaming Lips and had the butterfly thing on the front? This isn't that album but it is their first. Overall, this album is a beautiful mix of lullaby pop tunes, white-noise feedback, and expermental guitar work.
