www.shoutcast.comI've taken it for granted for a while, but in case any of you didn't know about it. Just need a winamp player, any version (I'm still on version 2, that came out in like 98, the newer ones have a gigantic amount of fluff). As a tangent, listening to classical music or "muzak" (an actual genre) increases productivity as well as memory retention while studying. Helps one focus as well. I reccomend the sky fm "mostly classical" channel.

I'm taking a class is music appreciation and had to buy a four CD case of classical music.
No need for radio.

Does it REALLY have to be classical? As far as concentration and studying and the like? Yes. Mainly because it isn't obtrousive. The same goes for muzak; there aren't ear jarring occurances or large amplitudes, ect. It's like white noise. You don't listen to death metal to go to sleep, you listen to the static that is white noise.

I dunno, I prefer music that pumps me up when I need to study. Helps to give me motivational energy to get me started. This particularly helps with essay writing, but that's just me.
Anyways, yeah, I've been using internet radio ever since my last comp formatting. It's easier than trying to replace my collection, and takes up much less space..
