It was at least written differently; that and I think you need an extra tongue to pronounce her true name, which consisted of vowels, consonants, mutterings of an elder god, with some generous hyphens, apostrophes, and ampersands thrown in. This guy is straight up "Youtube". You guys wanted to google her, didn't you. We'd check her cached page if you know what I mean.

So often it's very hard to find contemporary philosophers that can speak to people outside of the psychosis that is academic philosophy. Slavoj Zizek, however, is an example of one who breaks this mold. Taking Hegelian/Marxist social theory and Lacanian psychoanalysis, Zizek analyzes how ideology is implicitly expressed in pop culture. In less flattering terms, you won't have to be baked to trip out on his strange but appeal interpretations of movies, television, celebrities, etc. Here's a video of him explaining why thinks Children of Men is one of the best modern films. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbgrwNP_gYE

Hey, Anta, do you like Richard Feynman? Neil deGrasse Tyson is great, too. He was also known as a prankster, juggler, safecracker, and a proud amateur painter and bongo player. He was regarded as an eccentric and a free spirit. He liked to pursue multiple, seemingly unrelated, paths, such as biology, art, percussion, Maya hieroglyphs, and lock picking. Now I am. I'm trying to download his lectures right. As for Tyson, I actually knew of him, but I started looking him up on Youtube on your recommendation. It's great, at least from his gig at The Amazing Meeting conference, he's really got a slight stand-up comedian vibe. Otherwise, I like his no-nonsense personality. Simple and straight forward. That being said, I'm sure you're actually more interested in what I think about their material, their philosophies, and their knowledge as opposed how they present these things. This is why I'm attempting to find stuff online in convenient .pdf format (I more readily read things from a screen for some reason). And while still being relevant to this thread, all the aforementioned scientists in a single song (with Bill Nye as well, which is awesome)

Oh, I think how they present their ideas is very important. It kind of has to be as public science advocates. I think there's another youtube video out there of Tyson criticizing Richard Dawkins' combative rhetorical style.
Maybe you shouldn't download so much Feynman. Perhaps you might receive a book of his lectures.

I read that one auto biography by Richard Feynman, forgot what it was called, but they teach it in high school or middle school or whatever.
