They're finally making a true sequel to the Tiberium universe. I was a bit skeptical at first when I heard about it, but it seems like those guys at EA are trying pretty hard to please fans this time around. No more S-s-s-s-SCUD LAUNCHERS, and no...more...units...that...talk...like...this...hopefully. They even got Joseph D. Kucan to play as Kane again. I'm not too fond of the full name though, Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, but what can ya do. Also: It wasn't a good idea to walk though the middle of a tiberium field without some sort of protective mask in 1997, I don't see why it would be a good idea in 2047

I remember hearing that it was going to be a remake of the time frame that Tiberium Sun took place.
Glad to hear we're actually advancing the story.

It's going to be sci fi generals (well, starcraft I guess). I've got my money on a surprise "third race". One that may or may not be the bitch of the other two.

Like the mutants? They were a third party in Tiberian Sun, or maybe it could be some sort of assimilating, insectoid, space race, trying to recover the ship and the artifact that was recovered in the first game.

Like hell it's going to be Cabal. I can't see that fool lasting after Firestorm.

It's a shame that GDI aren't using Titans anymore though. They might not have be really cool, but mechs did distinguish GDI.

Was it just me? Or was Nod's artillery unit, the kick-all-ass unit?

Fighting against those artillery units is damn annoying.
By the time your units get over to them, they've destroyed half your base.

I'd personally say Banshee, but assuming GDI doesn't Titan-rushz-lolz in the beginning of the game, then yeah, Artillery are pretty annoying.

Hey, my speculation proved to be correct. Woo hoo! One point for my clairvoyance! Also, Michale Ironside will be playing the GDI general that chews your ass out for not doing a good job. Sweet. I'm getting this for the 360 when it comes out.

Huh, Joesph Kucan and Michael Ironside. Now that'll be an interesting combination.
One thing I do wonder after seeing the screens, what the hell happened to those GDI mechs?
