Well, I just got the brand-spanking new version of Photoshop CS and Flash, and am in reach of other such wonderful applications. In any case, who says a redesign is good?
Things that would be changed:
- No more frames; apparently they seem to funk up some stuff, including search engines
- Two versions of the comic, a high-res and a low one, depending on your connection speed (refer to penny arcade and their "alt" option)
- No more comic on the front page, being that it takes a bit long to load, even on faster computers
Also, just in general, maybe getting some links up on the link page would be better, and maybe some other small changes that would be made anyway.
Or we can keep everything the same.

I do like the idea of not having the comic on the front page, not only because it takes time to load, but because it's a SPOILER for anyone who hasn't read the comic yet. Hmmm, perhaps.
I'm not so sure about having two versions of the comic, however...
hmmm... Perhaps this calls for a secret meeting!

hmm, having comics on the front page are bad because they are potential spoilers, never thought of it that way. But I'm always up for the challenge of making new buttons. Plus, we could have lots of fancy thingies in our website now. Like flash movies and pop up adds you can't get rid of :? I'm definately voting "yes" for a new site design

I can easily say that the forces of the Internet do want you to re-design your website. Unfortunately, the internet wants it to be re-designed as a pr0n site. ("did he say 'seftctctctsssss?'") As an outside reader....oh wait, I can't read...as an outside viewer, I don't have any fellings for or against a re-design. I think it looks fine as it is, but you guys do whatever you want. As long as I don't have to do crap... However, I don't like the two versions idea. I'm running on a crappy connection and its working fine. Design idea: How about putting links up to my fonesecs/carsic websites... |

Ahah! I made it! It's about freaking time it let me in here. Anyways, this be my fashionably late premiere post on the new boards.
Right right, I'll give a thumbs up to a new site design, definitely. I wholeheartedly agree about the comic being a spoiler on the first page, that might want to get changed.
As for links, yes, get Emi's site so we can link back to each other. Heh, we could put googly's up too, providing he returns the favor..
Hmm, I'll put up more ideas as I think of em, right now I think we need an idea for a new main page if the comic isn't going to be there.

Well lets see. What should we put in place of the front page comics? A Photoshopped CG'd intro pic? A flash intro of sorts? Some kind of paragraph introduction? A combination of some of these? Somethin else I haven't thought of?
There is still much to discuss.
