Which means if we can convince nobody to buy it, it'll be dirt cheap a lot faster. THEN everyone can go out, get it cheap, and get their money's worth! Heck, stores will be shoveling them out by the barrel into the waiting arms of whoever wants them

Hell, screw Sony indeed. I have a straight off the shelf brand new PS2 and I still can't get games to work properly. Are you sure your PS2 isn't next to anything that can cause interference with it, like a heat source or something, that happened to my 360 one day, and then I had to move it away from the TV, and man, did it look nice there. |

It must be something in your room, I mean, it does get really warm in there, while everyone else's PS2's in their rooms work fine. Don't you always leave your consoles on too? I'm not sure if you still do it, but I remember a time when I would find your consoles on and in the same place we left them.

My guess is that it's the disc, but I'm not too keen on shelling out the cash for a replacement to test that theory at the moment.

The Legend of Dragoon has a tendency to produce a "black screen of death" between cutscenes, and I've hit a point I can't get past because of it. I'd have blamed the disc from the start if it weren't for the fact that it happened once during Ico as well. It's difficult to say exactly what's wrong though, because both of those discs are just as new as the PS2.

Our X-Box loves to freeze mid movie.
My roommate Jake and I were watching Night Watch (a rather freaky Russian vampire flick, Adrian you'd love it unless you've already seen it). Now we're about to set it back up after freezing.
Consoles suck no matter which one.
