Actually, RATM is in fact coming back together, but I think they're just doing a new tour for now. Which is good.

Yeah, I know that Rage is back together since they're headlining Coachella.
But I'd assume that Audioslave's break up means the Rage reunion won't be a one off.

I would try to bash your taste in music, Kuat, but I'm not even sure if you have one.
Also, this waiting for a Smashing Pumpkins tour is also killing me. Why can't they announce awesome things right before they happen?

You mean John William's over-glorified orchestral music that only people ignorant of Strauss, Holst, Walton, Stravinksy, Wagner's operas, and the film scores of Max Steiner would find significant?
It's like you philistines have never heard a leitmotif before.
Was that good?

I think every year our message board should hold an annual "Moting of the Year Award" ceremony. You mean John William's over-glorified orchestral music that only people ignorant of Strauss, Holst, Walton, Stravinksy, Wagner's operas, and the film scores of Max Steiner would find significant? It's like you philistines have never heard a leitmotif before. ^THAT just got nominated.

It's like you philistines have never heard a leitmotif before. Was that good? Eich! Mein lebein! *actually, joking aside, I do agree with the sentiment. But what can I say, I like bombastic music. I've heard stuff from all the guys there (Holst's planet set was pretty awesome), except Max Steiner. Think you can provide some samples of him? He seems up my alley considering the group you put him in.

In the Hall of Song Writers it says a film score he did was The Goonies. But I can't find any info on him writing that.
