It's kind of how I imagined Survivor on TV being, instead it was crappy gayness where they play minigames and vote each other off, instead of offing each other. It also reminds me of Battle Royale, only somewhat less jacked up because these people are a-holes.

It's more of a ripoff of Battle Royale than Survivor, except without the engrossing storyling, and the much darker theme. Seriously, this movie has no captivating premise whatsoever. The least they could've done is released Battle Royale here, but no, it's not good, but still too good for hollywood. Anyway, here's another perfectly good example of stolen japanese material: Of course, it isn't a straight-off ripoff. youtube.com/watch?v=9gvqpFbRKtQBattle Royale however, isn't much of an original tale as well, since apparently, a short story called The Most Dangerous game is the originator of the man-hunts-man-in-a-remote-area theme, and it has been reused countless times. |
