If anyone is wondering why I haven't been posting as much over the last month or so, it is not because I have something better to do (like there is anything better than chillin' with you guys, right?). Comcast, however, feels that it is necessary to disable my apartment's internet connection every weekend.
I think it's a hardware issue with the modem they gave us.
Looks like the majority of my replies will be from the school's 'puter lab until I can resolve this mess.

Might just want to do "ipconfig /all" in the command prompter, see if anything interested pops up. Anyhow, best of luck.

The connectivity light on the modem is out so it isn't a problem with our computers and/or router. The service dude said that there shows a connection on their end. Really, I think the modem is just plain retarded.

Really, I think the modem is just plain retarded. Yeah, we had the same bullshit back in CA (we still do actually) with Cox. We replaced the modem and it initially worked, but then it crapped out again; long story short no one may know what is going on.
