Or it could become monotonous. Easily. I could see that happening. Ah well, hopefully it will be good, as it is one of the few coop games for the DS.

Interesting. Anyway, anyone up for a game tonight?
Oh also I realized something really cool that we can do if Shane and Andrew get XBOX 360's. Considering that a lot of the games coming out for the console allow splitscreen multiplayer, we can hook up 3 XBOXes and have six people play on them. The cool thing is also that you can hook up an XBOX 360 to a computer screen, so we don't have to worry about where we'd see them!

Makes me wonder what's up with the No Room in Hell mod. Well, at least Left 4 Dead will get finished if it's done by professionals. Interesting. Anyway, anyone up for a game tonight? Not a bad game, but it's too tall for the console.

Heh heh. Anyway, I download the Tiberium Wars demo on Xbox live. FRIKKIN AWESOME! They only complaint I have is the group and structure management, it can get a bit confusing.

Group and structure management? How did they change it from the old series?

Well, it's on XBOX so you don't have a keyboard to help you out and stuff. You have to hold the right trigger to bring up menus and then move along them with the d-pad. You should see for yourself to see what I mean, remember it's hard putting an RTS onto a console.

Well, you said "confusing" so I figured they might done something funky with their interface. Otherwise, it sounds practical to me for console RTS.

A console to an RTS is like a PC to a platformer. It just shouldn't be done.
Well, controls wise. You need a sit down mouse-and-keyboard setup for RTS, a gamepad for platformer. I really never understood why anyone would put an RTS on anything but a computer, 'cept a DS. I never played age of empires for the DS, so I don't know how that went personally, although I heard good things. I can imagine an RTS done right on the DS, with command gestures to make up for the lack of keyboard. Have any of you guys used mouse gestures for anything? Pretty handy stuff, especially when you need to do, err, one handed surfing. In any case...

Well, I played it again, and discovered a few things that I wasn't able to before. It is actually done pretty good for a console RTS, it's not as good as a PC, but it's almost there in terms of control. So far, the gameplay and the graphics kickass.

I never got a job. Starbucks never called me back for the second time like they said they would. There might be a chance I could come down for the beginning of the summer as I was able to get into the summer course I wanted, but don't hold me to this.
