The Mars Volta are cooking up something new in the studio set for an early autumn release called the Bedlam In Goliath.

So far, De-Loused in the Comatorium has been their best album, and apparently they're taking less of a progressive rock approach. Their last two albums were technically amazing, but lacked what De-Loused had. Hopefully, this will be a nice mixture.
