I just got back from seeing Sin City and I must say that certain characters, I believe, are good candidates for the list.

Someone told me a character named Marve belongs at the top of our list. Is this true?

I will say this. Marv is fugly in all sense of the slang word. However, he doesn't take crap from anyone. I don't want to say anything about his awesomeness in fear of ruining the story but he is definitly a badass. I'm also thinking of Elijah Wood's character. I'll be first to admit, Elijah Wood isn't much of a badass but playing silent cannibal who has a stare that makes me shudder thinking about it... damn.
Go see Sin City NOW (there was some waist up female nudity... twice just in to warn you morally conservative few)

I don't care what anyone says.
Dr. Hannibal Lecter has been added.

I don't care what anyone says. Dr. Hannibal Lecter has been added. I've got no arguments with that. But what about the Lord of Darkness from Legend?

Lord of what from what?
Hmm, maybe some classical badasses.
Odysseus from the Odyssey. Comon, that guy was tricky as hell, defied the gods, and killed all the punks trying to move in on his turf. And he did it his way.

And he did it his way. No doubt. No doubt. He did walk through Hades itself like an ultimate badass. Added.

Heh, this list is looking awesome. At 50 I say we start ranking it maybe, from most badass to least. Or at least a brawl of some sort. I was thinking about stickying this, but all the sticky threads die

After gathering up all of these incredibly badass badasses, we have actually managed to completely overlook one of the baddest mofs to ever walk the planet. I am talking about Carnage. The most badass comic book villain that has ever existed. www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Garden/7264/marvel/Carnage.gifA psycho murderer whose body is possessed by an alien symbiote, Carnage is able to manipulate his body and turn his arms into anything he wants (i.e. axes, scythes, hammers, other deadly sharp objects) and he uses them quite effectively to accomplish his one and only purpose in life: To kill everybody. Why? Because it is fun. Men, women, children, it doesn't matter to him just as long as it screams and bleeds. Nobody is safe from the wrath of Carnage. Not even the almighty list of badass. Carnage must be added. NOW.

Carnage must be added. NOW. No reason to be pushy now.

There's a difference between being a badass and being just a downright prick.

We shall debate Mr. Blonde later. For now, you should add Marv.

Hey, what was your deviant art account name? Well, it was originally intended to be Comrade Nippos, but I never ended up actually signing up.
