THE MIGHTY LIST OF BADASS

Throughout the universe, there exist fictional characters that are so ultimately badass that grown men shudder at their very names. These awesome few demand respect or else they will take something of yours (your eye, your life, the world... whatever they want). To honor them, we shall create a list of these god-like badasses. Below shall be the collected list and this list shall be in no particular order (I dare not compare the awesomeness of the most awesome ones).

In order to purpose an addition to the listen, one must provide the name, image, and description of the character. We shall then debate the characters badassery and if the character is accept, he shall be placed on the list.

Crypt of the Unknown Badasses

I dunno, mind control doesn't sound very badass to me. I mean, he's just makin' everyone else do the hard stuff for him. He needs to get out there and cause some damage with his own hands.

He's a barbarian, a master of martial arts, and has a dagger that flys around killing people. However, I see where you are coming from.

Solid Snake. I dare you to try and say there is a better badass in videogames than this man.

Vader leads Star Destoryers around destroying things and can choke people to death with the force. Forget his origin. Instant addition.

As for Solid Snake, we still need to determine who would win...

I feel that Musical should weigh in on this issue.

You ask that I weigh, and weigh I shall.

You see, while solid snake was badass enough to take on a walking tank, helicopters, and a cyborg ninja head on, Sam Fisher would've approached these situations in different ways:

1. Cyborg ninja- Well, first thing Sam Fisher would do is shoot out all the lights in the room BEFORE Cyborg Ninja shows up (or just hit the switch quickly if ninja is already there) , leaving cyborg ninja in the dark (quite literally). This leaves ninja at a dissadvantage, unless of course he has night vision goggles, which is unknown. Sam does, on the other hand, and could easily see ninja in the dark. He also has thermal goggles just in case cyborg decides to be cheap and use his cloaking. Cyborg would never see the bullets coming.

2. Helicopters- Sam would have bombs planted in the engines before they ever took off. Kaboom.

3. Walking tanks- This is a toughie. I'm not really sure how Sam would get out of this one, unless he was able to hack into the controlling system of the tank from a distance with his crazy new goggles (which he CAN do in the new game), thus leaving the tank out of commision long enough to climb up, and in, and take out whoevers inside. Other than that I'm not sure.

All in all, it is quite a hard decision. After all, Snake has done some very badass things. He made the mullet look good for crying out loud.


Keep in mind, however, you'll never hear Sam Fisher say "No no, I can't do it."

I think they BOTH deserve a spot on the badass list.

Anyway, on the subject of Badasses, let me suggest a few:

Ash (Evil Dead Series)- "Hail to the king, baby."
Kurgan (Highlander) - "Happy Halloween, Ladies."

Perhaps not, but he is still revolutionary in the world of badassery, and needs a spot on the list. To tell you the truth though, I think the original snake (aka Big Boss) is more badass than Solid Snake, but that is just my opinion.

Snake wins out. Kurgan and Ash are insta-added. Their badassery is unchallenged.

-Main character named Guts, has a cannon for an arm, huge ass sword
