Sweet potato, right... Quick question guys: what was the first thing that pooped into your mind when you saw this? Actually I thought of a beet-like version of Ricky the Raindrop

Man, I haven't heard of Ricky the Raindrop in a while.

Sorry about the lull in Illustration pages lately. Due to unfortunate circumstances, I was apart from my sketchbook for a week, so I'll be playing catchup over Thanksgiving. Anyways, here are a few. Illustration sketchbook entry #56. Another drawing of the headphones chick. I really like how this one turned out. Illustration sketchbook entry #57. Probably the last lineup for the old Jerry's Adventures I'll do, or can think of doing. This is of Jerry, Jim, and Stephanie after their sudden transformations into the "chosen warriors." Illustration sketchbook entry #58. Another food related request from my buddy Mindy. This is a Watermelon Ninja, of course. Probably my favorite of the food ones so far.

I'm considering giving the food characters their own recurring DoodleTales continuity... but we'll see. Either way, the ninja is my favorite food one so far... except maybe the waffle.

My brother had his own set of anthropomorphic foods. It's where is screen name Armor-Hotdog comes from...well aside from the play on Armour Hotdogs.

Interesting. Ya know, I haven't seen much of Andy's artwork except for the fan art he did for 4G1D. It'd be nice to see some of it.

I think that was actually Mura's cousin, not Andy, if you were referring to the ONLY piece of "fan art" we have, or ever will have. That is, until I decided to revive the comic. Again. For like the fourth time.

Yeah, that one image was from my cousin. It was pretty cool. That was a long time ago. As for my brother's work, he doesn't have an online archive, but you might have seen bits and pieces of his stuff in the form of avatars and what not.

Illustration sketchbook entry #59. I guess the scene here isn't conveyed very clearly, but whatever. The idea is that it accidentally sleep spore'd me. Illustration sketchbook entry #60. Yep, it's pretty much an ape surfing on a banana. Semi-requested from a frequent commenter on my deviantart page.

Alright, here's a batch more of 'em. Illustration sketchbook entries #61-65. #61. Some fanart of Samurai Jack, quite possibly one of the best cartoons ever made. #62. A nice autumn pic, simply because I like the atmosphere. The character is loosely based off of my gaia avatar. #63. The Brave Little Toaster, yo. 'Nuff said. #64. Yet another food-related request. This time around it's Yoga Banana. #65. Afro Samurai, one of the most badass anime characters around. Pretty much my pride and joy of the week. Inspiration struck right when I was getting a bit tired of doing these pages.

Went to a library staff party thing with Sara recently, and whipped up a quick drawing to go into the white elephant gift exchange. Luckily a camera was available to take a quick snapshot for my personal records before sending it away. Get it? It's a white elephant! Ho ho ho... Yeah. It was actually one of the more popular gifts that were stolen, surprisingly enough.

Yeah, I remember one time we went to white elephant. Man, was that crap so chaotic. On the bright side, I did meet Leah at one of those shin-digs.

Thanks a lot, man. I think I've noticed some skill progression this semester, which is refreshing because I think I was kind of hitting a bit of a plateau over the last semester or two.
