Well, patrick, i finally listened to mercury rev today, or at least half of it, since i couldn't really get through it all the way with out getting bored. While I was listenning to this, I was asking myself, "now why would patrick want me to listen to this?" And I guess its because of the guitar sounds. Yup, I shall say more when I finish. Come on, "Chasing A Bee" and "Coney Island Cyclone" are great tracks.

Go figure, but for some reason I just don't like your music that much, I always wonder why, maybe I need to listen to it more. Maybe I'm not to much into the whole happy music, heavy sound effects guitar thing. Anyway, that portishead song was at the end to my movie.

Yo Patty B! I found this cool cyber cafe on Squeezeoc.com called Plush Cafe. It's basically your typical cafe with the bonus of internet, magazines, awesome sofas, and comic books, plus, most important of all, live performances. Me and Shane are planning to go check it ouuuut soon, to see what it's like. But anyway, I think someplace like it would be a good start, I'm hoping to teach you guys a nice little variety of improv, ie, blues, surf, jazz so we can at least get some little experience playing this summer.

youtube.com/watch?v=Y7PAHX7iLpIHere's the legendary blues man Stevie Ray Vaughn showing you he can take on just about any kind of rock. Seriously, the late SRV is considered the best guitarist this side of Jimi Hendrix and Eddie Van Halen, and is right up there with Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton.

You mentioned Eric Clapton and didn't even care to mention Brian May?? May could implode Clapton's body with his playing. He'll kill you.

You still need to show me something, you know. All you do is mention how good Brian May is, but do you front any proof? Heck nah! So do It foo'!

You need to see him live. Not a recording, you must BE THERE. Only then can you realize the true power of Brian May and his homemade red special.

You mean the Karate Kid? Me thinks video magic is at work here. Yeah, I was being sarcastic. The guy who actually does Machio's solo is Steve Vai, the other guitarist that loses.

For a second there... I thought Mr. Miyagi may have taught him the art of the wail.
