Yeah, Of course, I love the simpsons. In fact, I remember it cuz the town members where all asking, "Does he mean homosexual love, or love among human beings?"

BAND FOR ADRIAN! Witch youtube.com/watch?v=Y32j9BRtQvs&search=witch%20mascisI came across this band while looking into what J Mascis (lead of Dinosaur Jr) had been up to recently. Apart from DJ reunion, Mascis put together this hard rock/doom metal band called Witch. However, in this band, J Mascis leaves the vocal/guitar to another and picks up the drums (his first instrument). The influence of classic 70's heavy metal is obvious here but they still remain relevant.

Whoa pretty cool. If only I could hear the lyrics. Very Sabbath-like. And the song is called kill that cat? Crazy. Poor cat.

Hey, Patrick, have you ever heard of a band called the Violent Femmes? They are a 1980's alternative rock band. Pretty awesome.

Yeah, I've heard of the Violent Femmes. One of the many bands I have yet to give a decent listen.

Heads up. I'll be uploading Ween's The Mollusk for Andrew, Is It... Man or Astro-Man? for Adrian, Slint's Spiderland for you all you post-rcokers (seriously far better than GYBE).
Maybe I'll upload a Yo La Tengo album for Val, if she's around.
Ask, if you guys want anything else.

Okay, here's Andrew's.
Ween - The Mollusk
Ween's sixth album, this amazing album sees the group move further from their usual alternative rock style and explore more progressive rock territory. Most of the album contains a nautical theme in the style of prog rock's tention for concept albums. I doubt anyone with any respectable taste could dislike the title track, so beautiful.

Is It. . . Man or Astro-Man?
Surf rock with sci-fi themes throughout. What need I say more? There are so many badass moments throughout this entire album that I'm not even going to try to pick them out. They just are.

Slint - Spiderland

Considered by many to be the first true post-rock album, the album exemplifies the beauty that has become the real draw of post-rock while avoiding the cliches.

Well, of course, they're meant for everyone. I only mentioned Andrew and Adrian because I promised them that I would up them some time ago.
